Slicers are used to filter content items in the presentation during runtime. While you can add an existing slicer to your presentation from the content tree, you can easily build your own slicers on the fly.
While the full Present module offers users the option to build both simple and advanced slicers, Present Lite enables the creation of simple slicers only.
Create a New Slicer
Start by clicking the Add New Slicer icon, and from the fly-out menu select the required data model, and then select which hierarchy to use as the slicer.
The slicer will automatically be added to the canvas, and interactions will automatically be added between the slicer and the other content items on the canvas.
When the presentation is launched in runtime, the slicer selection will filter any content items with which it has interactions.
