The Getting Started playlist introduces users to the BI Office Analytics Platform. This sequence provides the first steps of a data analytics journey from the beginning with Data Model to investigating with Data Discovery and finally sharing with Story Board and Publication. Start with the first video and move down the list to build a solid foundation for working in BI Office.

Data Model tutorials focus on the Data Modeling Wizard for building your own in-memory databases for analysis and presentation. Learn how to access all types of data models such as Excel files, SQL server databases, SalesForce, and Twitter.

Data Discovery tutorials focus on the data discovery process for exploring and navigating into the data model. Learn how to drill, slice, dice, filter, sort, pivot, expand, and collapse data. Use other features to derive more advanced query selections.

Story Board tutorials focus on building and running dashboards. Learn how to use editing features such as slide layout, content and assets, theme formatting, and dynamic images. The tutorials will also address Story Board options when launched in runtime such as highlighting, interactions, zooming, drilling down, and the ability to seamlessly connect back to Data Discovery.

Publication tutorials focus on building reports that incorporate views from the Data Discovery process. Learn how to use editing features such as the document template, content and assets, and dynamic text. The tutorials will also cover previewing and scheduling the Publication.

Management tutorials focus on the 'Backstage' of BI Office. The Backstage maximizes the platform’s effectiveness by enabling a variety of actions and controls. Learn about content management and distribution, lineage and versioning, and how to change data sources and deal with missing data.

Mobile tutorials focus on the BI Office experience on the go. Learn how analytic content from BI Office can be easily viewed with using mobile devices - both smart phone and tablet. Tutorials cover data interactions and navigating the mobile interfaces.

These tutorials cover publishing Power BI Desktop content directly to BI Office. Learn how to share content generated in Power BI Desktop with other users in the organization.
