Overview
Action functions are a set of specialized methods for building advanced Discover actions and/or Present actions, or for building advanced jump buttons and web panel URLs in Present. These functions are extended methods that are implemented in the same fashion as the Common library. However, they are designed to act on the user's activity and interactions with live analytic content.
The Action library includes several methods for driving data collection based on what a user clicked on in the session - either through the 'jump' actions for 'cross model' interactions.
Action calculations are usually done with specialized methods added to languages like Java, C# and VB.
