Use the Alignment tools to position the Matrix Grid on the canvas. The default position is the upper left corner of the canvas, but you can place the grid in a different location if required.
Note: Alignment is not relevant to Tabular or Raw Grids.

Open the Alignment drop-down from the Component ribbon. You can select one of nine presets:
Formatting Panel
You can also change the alignment of your grid by selecting an Alignment option under Settings on the Matrix Grid view of the Formatting Panel:
Examples: Aligning Grids
Here, a Matrix grid is aligned to the top left corner of the canvas (this is the default grid position):
Here, the same grid is aligned to the center of the canvas:
And here, the grid is aligned to the bottom right:
