Present runtime menu

When viewing your presentation at runtime, there are several options that you can access from the hamburger menu at the top-left corner of the presentation. These options let you refresh the content of the discoveries; apply, edit, or add bookmarks; print, subscribe, edit, or copy a link to the presentation; enable multi-highlight mode; enable the workflow dialog; or interact with the presentation using hidden slicers or slicers from other slides. The purpose of this menu is to provide advanced options for runtime users without cluttering the screen with fields that are instead reserved for when they are needed.

Access the Present runtime menu

  1. Click the hamburger menu. This is typically at the top-left corner of each slide (green arrow).
  2. The Present runtime menu opens to the left of the page.

  3. Select the options in the panel as required. Click here for more information.

Note: You can close the panel at any time by selecting the Close option (X) at the top-right (red arrow).

Present runtime menu options

Refresh options (basic)

  • Undo: Undo the previous action.
  • Redo: Redo an action that was previously undone.
  • Reset: Undo any changes that you have made to your presentation at runtime. Note that this restores the presentation to its last saved state. Tip: You might want to Reset before you, say, export your presentation. This is because your runtime changes will be reflected in the exported presentation.
  • Re-run: Re-run the queries in the presentation to ensure the data is up to date.

Tip: You can also Undo, Redo, and Reset from the navigation options that are typically shown at the top-right of the presentation and from the context menu when you right-click the canvas.
