Panel Tools
Visualization panels expose several functions along the top of the visual. Depending on the design preferences of the presentation's author, the panels may be displayed by default, or you may need to hover over the visual to display its panel functions.
Panel Tools
The panel tools that you see are determined by the presentation-builder; you may or may not see all of the panel tools in a given visual:
Tip: If the panel is hidden, you may need to hover over the visual to show it.
- Smart Insights: generate AI-automated analysis of a given query, with the output returned in natural language.
- Chatbot: use the Natural Language Query (NLQ) Chatbot to interact with visualizations in an intuitive way with plain English.
- Analyze Further: open data discoveries in the Discover Lite tool for further analysis.
- Workflow for Report: toggle the conversations icon to show or hide the visual's conversations.
- Auto Lasso Selection: use the dynamic lasso selection tool if cross-visual interactions have been configured. Click the dynamic lasso tool then drag your cursor to select the required data points. The target visuals will be filtered by the selected data points.
- Lasso Selection: use this to select multiple data points, and then interact with them.
- Full Screen: click the full-screen icon to full-screen the specified visual.
Full Screen
You can use the Full Screen panel tool to make your visual fill the screen (use up all of the available space). If your visual has an interaction with a slicer, the slicer appears in the Presentation Menu (see red highlight, below):
