Configuring Visual Options in Publish Lite
By default, visuals are added to the canvas in a standard sized panel with its appearance (the font size used by the grid, the legend styling, and so on) dictated by its theme. You can use the visual formatting options in the ribbon to dictate whether or not each visual should scale to fit the panel it is contained by, whether it should include a legend or not , and whether resizing the visual should result in the creation of a "miniature visual" at very small sizes.
These options apply to the visuals you have selected on the canvas, rather than to all visuals in the publication.
Visual formatting options
If you have a visual or group containing visuals selected on the canvas, the following options are shown on the ribbon:
These options are all toggle buttons that enable or disable a function for the selected visual or visuals on the canvas.
Scale visuals to fit space
Selecting the Scale to Fit option (purple arrow above) allows Pyramid to re-size the selected visual to fit its container automatically. This is typically useful where the visual is larger than the space available in its container and only part of the visual is visible without scaling; for example, if you have a large Matrix Grid with lots of columns of data and you prefer to scale the visual down than to re-size the container on the canvas.

Show legends for visuals
If your visual includes a legend, selecting the Legends option (green arrow above) shows that legend inside the visual container. This is typically useful where there is no independent legend or the visual does not share its legend with other visuals. Hiding the legend (clearing this selection) may be useful if you have a large visual, an independent legend on the page, or multiple visuals share a legend (so you only need to show it once).

Note: Present Pro users can add legends to the canvas independently of their visuals (they can add a visual in one container and a legend in its own container). Where this is the case, you may not want to include legends for any of the visuals on the page, providing more space for the visual itself.
Generate "miniature visuals" automatically
Selecting the Miniature visual option (blue arrow above) allows Pyramid to generate a "miniature visual" when you shrink your visual down to a size that renders it illegible. A miniature visual shows the measure name and number in place of the visual and is particularly useful where you have limited space for your visual and just want to provide the highlights.
